SciCAST provides a multimedia sharing medium for uploading and accessing user-generated multimedia and video content of scientific/technical research activities with advanced tagging and search functions to facilitate information retrieval. SciCAST is designed to efficiently share research results on a more interactive platform by offering a variety of multimedia options, such as video or audio explanations of scientific papers, peer reviews though video clips, video and audio files of keynote speeches, conferences and workshops, etc.

SciCAST facilitates and simplifies the efficient sharing of rich forms of information among the society members, in order to promote research collaboration, the dissemination of results from a broad spectrum of research activities, the effective forming of research consortiums and the transformation of theoretical scientific research achievements into concrete practical applications.
